The Project Manager for NCR Real Estate Development is responsible for the design and execution of the strategy for the redevelopment of SAIC'™s campuses in McLean and Vienna, Virginia. This is a multi-year project for the Company'™s flagship site that will require leading through complex cycles of planning, approval, financing, integration and construction. The scope of the project includes partnership and integration with the stakeholders of the projects, including the Dulles Metrorail Project VDOT, Fairfax County, Community Groups and neighboring property owners. The scale of the position calls for innovative thinking implemented through disciplined leadership and seasoned project management. The Project Manager will be responsible for assisting in the selection and management of the project team, including land use consultants, development partners, architecture and construction firms. As well as coordination with internal SAIC subject matter experts required for different phases of the project. This position will also be accountable for conducting regular reviews of the design, cost, schedule, and operational elements of the project. These reviews will be provided to the senior executive team to assist them in making decisions on issues ranging from plan designs to occupancy options and business continuity during construction phases. The Project Manager will also ensure that internal points of integration are effectively coordinated in areas such as legal, government affairs, communications, security, finance and others. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Director, and is based in McLean, VA. Required Qualifications: This position requires leadership skills and subject matter expertise to be effectively applied in three key areas: the real estate development process, real estate finance and project management. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated track record of accomplishments in real estate design, development and construction with an emphasis on project management skills for completing projects on-schedule, within budget and with high customer satisfaction. Further emphasis is placed on re-development experience in mix use high commercial density zones. This position also requires the ability to operate and influence in complex, fast-paced environments with respect to internal, external, commercial and governmental stakeholders. Desired Characteristics: The Project Manager should be a hands-on leader who can effectively adapt their written and verbal communications skills to the necessary audience inside and outside the Company. This includes executive and Board-level briefings as well as representing SAIC in regular interactions with outside agencies and firms. Previous real estate development experience in the Washington DC metropolitan region is a plus, with particular emphasis on work in Fairfax County, VA. Education:
